Radicals Round Up!
As the temperatures lift and the nights lengthen it does finally feel like spring is in the air.
The AKIOS INOVA radicals’ team have also been “springing “into action. This group of dedicated anglers from different parts of the uk and British Isles are an essential element in bringing the best possible AKIOS products to the market. They work tirelessly testing new gear and discussing / working on future products. Here’s just a taste of what some of the team have been up too ….
Jay pickup has been out on the mighty river Mersey putting the Akios Creed and Nitron F-15XP to good use chasing early smooth hounds.
Gareth Griffiths the UK’s number one big fish angler has been using his AKIOS Creed to capture some tremendous early season Tope, taking his shore caught record to a staggering 155 fish!
Both Jay and Gareth worked on the AKIOS Creed, our “beast with finesse “which is proving a big hit among anglers far and wide.
Scott McCartney has been in fine fishing match fishing form lately. He fished the final leg of the Stranraer Winter League at Back Ardwell Beach and came out on top with 4 points.
The League is fished on various beaches around the Mull of Galloway area, with an anglers’ best four results counting from eight matches.
The venues provided different fishing on clean and mixed ground beaches. Scott used his AKIOS Momentum and AKIOS AirPower Black SRS to great effect catching lots of different species.
Matty Preston has been enjoying some great plaice fishing with his family using the stunning AKIOS Airlyte. This beautiful little fishing rod is ideal for summer fishing as well as a great rod for juniors due to its weight and length.
Martin McGowan put his AKIOS GTR, our stunning two-piece glass-tipped rod, to great use with a stunning undulate ray.
The whole team have also been working on a number of new rods, terminal tackle and other secret little bits that we are sure our customers will love.
